The game combines stealth, sabotage, tactical combat, and narrative gameplay, as players infiltrate enemy facilities, bypass defenses using portal technology, and face the human faction known as the Vormacht. Players carry out missions focused on infiltration, sabotage, intelligence gathering, and assassination, using tools such as hacking, disabling systems, and eliminating targets before alarms are triggered. Across a branching campaign of more than 30 missions, they develop their Operatives and Headquarters, unlocking new abilities, equipment, and tactical options, with additional Assault Mode and Special Operations increasing replayability. As missions progress, enemy patrols react to player actions, increasing pressure across the battlefield until a full alarm is triggered and missions shift into open confrontation.
