Issei Hyoudou is an ordinary high school student, obsessed with girls but he has no success with the fairer sex. One day Yuuma asks her out. The date goes well at the end of the day, Yuuma whispers in her ear to die for her, then turns into a fallen angel and kills him. The next day Issei wakes up thinking that the events of the day before with Yuuma were just a bad dream. However, late in the afternoon, he is again attacked by another fallen angel, Rias Gremory saves him. The next day, he wakes up with Rias naked in his bed. The latter reveals to him that she is a demon, that Issei is no longer quite human and has become his servant.

He finally goes through many hardships with his new companions, both comical and moving.
