The story centers on Ritsuka Uenoyama, a young high school student who plays the guitar but has lost interest in the instrument. One day, he meets Mafuyu Sato who owns a guitar with worn strings. To be able to recover his place to take a nap, Ritsuka offers to repair his guitar. However, when Ritsuka proceeds to test his guitar, Mafuyu is amazed and wishes he would teach him how to play. Thus, he will introduce, without much conviction, Mafuyu to his music group. However, when he first hears Mafuyu sing, Ritsuka wishes him to join his band.
