In the past, mankind suffered a natural disaster, named the "Invertia" impact. This catastrophe destroyed the whole world. But thanks to this event, humanity got a new ability named "Genestella". The story takes place in the Academic city on water, named Rikka. This city, otherwise known as "the Asterisk", famous for being the world's largest stage for Star Wars. Generation Starpulse people from six different academies made their wishes with meteorite fragments to vie for supremacy in this city. Amagiri Ayato is one of them, after coming to Rikka through the invitation of the Student Council President of Seidoukan Academy.
